Thanks for your information. I have filled out my information and added spouse and child pending cases after adding my case. When i tried to start new procedure for spouse and child, it is giving me error that i have already notified the address change. Asked me to contact back after 45days.

From my experience, if you file EAD/AP by yourself, all communications regarding EAD/AP will go to you. No need to file G-28. If you want all I-485 communication rerouted to you, you need to file G-28 and put yourself as a representative.
I could not find age restriction for EAD, you may try to file. However there are legal restrictions on child labor in US so I really doubt they will issue EAD for a minor (under 14 years). My friend cound not get EAD for 12 year old.

Thanks for the response. I am very glad to know that H1 can be transferred to new company with existing perm application. If the transfer takes place, we will be aiming to apply for a new Perm from the new company asap or before 30-Sep-2010.
Can you please confirm applying for new Perm with new company before Sep 2010 will be enough to request extension beyond Sep 2011?

It is possible to transfer the H1 with validity to 30-Sep-2011 as long as the PERM is active. However, once approved, the PERM will "expire" if no I-140 is filed within 180 days, and eligibility for further one year extensions would end. Is there a way to get an English translation of my birth ceritificate in the US? I have the original with me and to send it to India and get it done seems like a pretty big deal.
Can anyone please advise? Requesting transalation from Marathi to English...

Banks send you the 1099-INT form which is allowed on H1B. This is different from the 1099-Misc form google sends you (http://www.adsensetaxes.com/) which makes Adsense a business income. That is not allowed on H1B.

The problem is not with current pay vs future pay. The company has other project managers (US Citizens) and will only pay what others get as PMs. The classification gave a pay that is almost 50% more than what other PMs make.
So the company will not commit/be willing to pay that high wage. Why should they? I know my company pays more than average of what PMs get in the industry. BTW it is not a consulting company and I work directly for the company, not clients.
I think the problem is that any kind of manager in computer/IT industry is classified under Computer information systems manager. While there can be hundreds of classifications that are not CIS managers.
To put things in perspective, the classification is for my boss's boss. But the job done by me and my boss and his boss are totally different.
So my question remains. How do we get classification as Project manager under EB2 with proper wages?

There is no AP card or an approval notice. When they send the approval notice, they mean the actual AP papers - which is a 1-page document.
They send 2 copies of that.
Like an earlier post said, you can take Infopass and/or call customer service no.
My AP was approved on April 27 and I got it in the mail on 05/03.

I think, you could wait for few more weeks. Sometimes, the delay may be due to the unavailability of appointment dates at the nearest uscis office. In your case, I guess it is Newark or New Jersey or whatever..which I guess is an office with lot of applicants under its jurisdiction.
If you apply this logic to a person from a remote place, that will answer why he receives a notice early.

Did you send two separate checks for 485 or did you combine them into one? How many LIN numbers did you see on the back of the check for 485?
I had sent one combined cheque for EAD. My company had sent a seperate cheque for 485. I just sw my EAD cheque encashed today and it has two LIN numbers (I presume one for me and one for my wife). Not sure about 485 cheques since my company had sent them.
